Choose the place

The church of San Pietro, at the tip of the headland, is the most famous spot: the terrace in front of the church looks out over the open sea and the Cinque Terre. At sunset it is beautiful, but it is rarely empty.

Byron's Grotto, below San Pietro, is named after the English poet who used to swim here. Castello Doria, high above the village, offers the widest view over the Gulf of Poets and the islands.

If you want a moment that is just for the two of you, the most intimate choice is the private terrace of Capitolare Tower, above the rooftops of the village, with the sea all around.
